Dayton Kappas Leading the Way in 2014

Parity’s Top 10 African American Award recognizes African American males that have made a significant contributions and paved a brighter path for African America’s within the greater Dayton, Ohio community. Many of our Honorees are activists, community leaders, elected officials, religious leaders, businessmen, medical professionals, artists, pioneers, innovators, coaches, and educators.  We are honored to have had many of the honorees be members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.  Two Dayton Kappas were recognized this year.

sandersDr. Darius D. Sanders is currently employed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio as an aerospace engineer in the Aerospace Systems Directorate, Turbine Engine Division. He attended Delaware State University, Dover, Delaware as an undergraduate, and then attended the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), Blacksburg, Virginia, where he received a Master’s of Science and a Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 

williamsMr. Robert “Bob” Williams is currently Vice President for SoBran, Inc. This multi-million dollar corporations’ home office is located in Dayton, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Tennessee State University, Nashville, Tennessee, and later earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, Alaska. Mr. Williams is a retired U.S. Air Force military officer, Vietnam veteran, and highly decorated for his service to our country.
